Resident Liaison Officer
Are you a people person with a passion for helping others?
Do you enjoy working in your community and want a role with purpose?
Do you want to be part of a team improving homes and lives across the UK?
At Happy Energy Solutions Ltd, we’re looking for caring, organised, and proactive individuals to join us as Resident Liaison Officers (RLOs). This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the heart of community-focused retrofit projects, supporting households through every stage of their energy efficiency journey.
Closing date – Friday 14th November 2025
Job Description
What the role involves
As an RLO, you’ll be the friendly face and first point of contact for residents. You’ll support households before, during and after energy efficiency works, explaining what to expect, answering questions, resolving concerns, and making sure residents feel informed, safe, and respected at all times.
You’ll coordinate appointment bookings, communicate project updates, work with vulnerable residents, and help ensure smooth, considerate delivery. You’ll be part of a supportive team and will use a mix of phone calls, letters, visits, texts, and emails to keep communication clear and accessible.
Who we are
Happy Energy Solutions Ltd is a leading provider of PAS 2035:2023 and MCS compliant domestic retrofit services. We help improve the energy performance of homes across the UK, (through grants for improved heating, insulation and renewables) reducing carbon emissions, tackling fuel poverty, and enhancing health and wellbeing. Our Resident Liaison Officers play a vital role in making this work a success.
What we offer
- 26 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays
- Private medical insurance
- Company vehicle for business use

- Ongoing training and development
- A supportive team culture that values people and purpose
What we're looking for:
- Excellent communication and people skills – empathetic, calm, and professional
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confidence using digital tools (email, forms, SMS)
- Experience working with the public or in a customer service role (housing, care, support, or community work is a plus)
- A clean UK driving licence
No retrofit experience? That’s fine.
We’ll provide full training and support – we’re more interested in your attitude, people skills, and commitment to doing things properly.
