Overview of the role.

A Cavity Wall Insulation Installer required to join a growing team based in Greater Manchester (Bury and Moss Side), with immediate start.

Full-time. Salary: £23,000 – £30,000 per annum depending on experience.

GGI is looking for an individual with initiative, comfortable with working at heights and with an interest in learning new skills. You will have experience in the provision of general repair services, cleaning abilities and general labouring to void and occupied properties. You must be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and computer skills.

Duties:

• Installing cavity wall insulation
• Extracting cavity wall insulation
• Carrying out pre & post AKOPS checks
• Working alone and as a member of a team
• Working at heights
• Pointing brickwork

Requirements, Skills & Experience:

• A full UK Drivers Licence (required)
• Greater Manchester: able to commute (required)
• Level 2 NVQ in Cavity Wall Insulation (preferred)
• AKOPS qualification (preferred)
• Understanding of Health and Safety legislation (preferred)
• Basic DBS check (required)
• Able to work well individually and liaise with our team
• Attention to detail
• Organised individual
• Able to manage workload effectively
