Overview of the role.
The Tree of Life charity is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to oversee the planning, development, and successful delivery of an annex which is an existing building requiring extensive refurbishment. This project is central to their mission of enhancing their facilities to better serve their beneficiaries and expand their reach. Spending most of their time on site, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing all phases of the construction project, from initial design through to completion, ensuring that the annex is delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
Salary: Up to £35,000 per year, pro rata
Hours: Minimum 20 hours/3 days per week
Location: Wythenshawe, Manchester
Main responsibilities will include:
– Project Planning and Coordination
– Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables
– Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
– Coordinating the building work programs
Project delivery:
– Oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to agreed timelines, budget, and quality standards.
– Conduct site inspections and address any on-site challenges.
– Ensure smooth handover of the completed annex and prepare final reports.
