Overview of the role.
A Trainee Bricklayer position is available through the Euston Skills Centre. for Camden residents. This opportunity is full time and wage is at £13.15 per hour.
- To assist and work with the bricklayers and labourers constructing mainly internal blockwork partition and liner walls
- To be familiar with tools used for bricklaying
- If suitable the candidate can be trained and assessed to a Level 2 NVQ and secure a qualified tradesperson Blue Skills CSCS card in bricklaying.
Essential Requirements
- Candidates must have CSCS card
- Previous site experience with or as a bricklayer will be desirable
- Must have a Level 1 or 2 Diploma in Bricklaying
- GCSEs Maths & English Grade 2 or equivalent, minimum
- Candidates must be 18+ years old
- Candidates must be a Camden resident, Camden care leaver or attended a Camden secondary school
