Apprentice / Trainee Site Manager
Persimmon Homes North West has a vacancy for an Apprentice / Trainee Site Manager to join their successful and growing teams on site. This role will be based on their Shavington Park site, which is just outside Crewe, Cheshire but there could be the opportunity to work across other sites in the area.

As an Apprentice / Trainee Site Manager you will assist the Site Manager to ensure compliance with the company health and safety standards and processes, NHBC standards, building regulations and overall quality standards. Develop understanding of our core values of quality builds and customer satisfaction and work with the Site Manager to embed these principles across all site activity. Assist with delivery of all aspects of production requirements in strict accordance with relevant technical and planning documentation provided. Liaise with other internal departments, external suppliers and partners to ensure the build programme is achieved. Ensure that anything which is likely to affect the company’s performance is notified to the Site Manager, Contracts Manager and Construction Director immediately. Assist with ensuring that practical completions are formulated with sales requirements to obtain mutual compatibility. Promote effective site security and ensure good practice is maintained at all times. Build in accordance with relevant standards, Code of Practice, Building Regulations and warranty requirements in force at all times. Ensure all site administration is carried out in accordance with required standards.

What will you bring to the role?
You may be a recently qualified apprentice looking for the next step up into a junior management role or a recently qualified graduate looking to put what you have learnt into practice. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has a genuine interest in the construction trade and is motivated to learn new skills. You will need to have a minimum of grade 4/c GCSE maths and English, hold a full UK driving license and a suitable CSCS card, support applying for this will be offered but applicants must have passed the CSCS Health, Safety and Environment Test. You will need the ability to work well as part of a team as well as using your own initiative.
